WELCOME
We love our little 12 acre patch of heaven in the Umpqua Valley, called Spotted Acres Farm.
We are a small hobby farm that breeds and shows Appaloosa Horses, and colorful quality Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. Beginning in Summer 2020 we enrolled in the DHIR program through The American Dairy Goat Association for milk data recording. We are excited to continue this adventure and build more production. We are on milk test year round as we freshen our does as they are ready in maturity.
All our Nigerian Dwarf goat adults are tested Negative CAE/CL/JOHNES and we randomly test Negative for Q FEVER, BRUCELLOSIS, and TB all by WADDL/OSU/ or other accredited labs, starting in August 2020. All of our herd came from herds that tested NEGATIVE prior to purchasing.
*NEW* In 2024 all bucks and bucklings leaving our farm will be DNA tested and if available, parentage verified and the fee will be part of their asking price. This will be a requirement of ADGA in order for his future offspring to be registered.
If you would like your doeling DNA verified please inquire for added cost.
*NEW* Beginning in 2024 we will be dual registering all our breeding stock with AGS in an effort to accommodate more potential customers. If you would like your kid to be dual registered please let us know at time of deposit.
We added microchipping to our personal registered stock in 2023 and can include microchipping into the price of your kid purchase for a nominal fee of $12.50
*Non registered stock can be microchipped for an additional charge $25.00
We also sell our free range and NON-GMO farm fresh eggs from our happy hens and raw goats milk from our lovely ladies.
BIOSECURITY IS IMPORTANT TO US!
*We test every goat 1 year old or older annually for CAE, JOHNES, and CL
*We pick random goats to test for Q-Fever annually
*We blood draw test bred does 30ish days post exposure for pregnancy

We specialize in friendly quality offspring suitable for family farms, breeding, 4-H, and show, Our hope is to provide an esthetically pleasing goat that will also put milk in the pail.
In 2023 we started the shift to focus on higher milk production while keeping the beautiful exterior we love and are known for.
We had our first Linear Appraisal stop in 2022 and will continue to apply every year that we are a ADGA plus herd, as a host herd. If you are local and annually disease test your animals and need a stop, please contact us.

Prices include a $100 nonrefundable deposit to reserve your kid. Payments can be made until the kid is ready to go home (by 12 weeks).
Prices will vary depending on quality of stock and other desired traits.
We have a high percentage of blue eyes, polled, spotted patterns, and moon spots in our herd.
We are happy to help arrange transport by air or ground at buyers expense. All vet expense related to transport is also buyers responsibility and must be paid directly to the vet at time of service. No animal will be released until all fees are paid in full. For Air shipping 8 weeks, for ground by 12 weeks.
FARM FRESH EGGS
Our eggs are in a variety of colors from pasture raised hens that we collect eggs from daily. They are fed only NON-GMO feed and we have no roosters on site so our eggs are NON FERTILE.
